LONG STRANGE CRYPT

hey creeps, its been a while! in the past few months since the release of THE MEN single, i've moved even deeper into the mountains, been raising a big garden, and still managed to take the distro out to some sick shows! bands like NUKLEAR BLAST SUNTAN, LOTUS FUCKER & WHITE GUILT have all ripped kentucky up in recent memory! yes, these exclamation points are completely called for! i'm excited!

the next release from KARMIC SWAMP is at the pressing plant right now and should be available in a matter of weeks. KS11 is the self-titled EP from lexington, kentucky resident thrashmasters TOMBSTALKER (ON TOUR NOW with COFFIN DUST!) this is the band's first record following a string of limited run demos and splits, and sees them develop into a FULLY REALIZED METALLIC FORCE (yeah it's pretty intense!) nearly fifteen minutes of searing, pounding, clawing, fucking METAL. WORSHIP AT THE THRONE OF FORTUNE!

two more releases are on the horizon, and ready to launch us in completely different directions. KS10 is THE ELSINORES - NO LOVE LOST CS. this tape builds on the kentucky band's self-released demo with five new songs of infectious garage pop jammed full of hooks (think somewhere between the BEACH BOYS and BIG STAR.)

i wish i was as cool as these guys when i was 17 (i wish i was as cool as these guys now.) really excited to get this one out there and into people's ears! THE ELSINORES just wrapped up an awesome tour of the southeastern US, where they had this tape with them. mail order copies are getting the final touches right now and should be available very soon!

KS13 is shaping up to be a completely baleful split c-30 between kentucky doomed brethren LURKING and ANGELMAKER, in a release that combines scathing, organic drone metal with dismal aural meditation in a work of total experiential deconstruction. coreleased with our friends at CONCENTRIC DRONE CULT, these tapes are being packaged in hand painted boxes limited to 50 copies. look for copies available for mail order sometime in august!

in addition to working on these new releases, i've just updated the distro with all kinds of new stuff picked up in trades and at shows recently. 7"s from CULO, VOLCANIC SLUT, FACE THE RAIL, tapes from SHOPPERS, HUBRIS, DREAM POLICE and lots more! a bunch of this is already out of print, and the stuff that's not is still really cool
